About Sri Lanka

The prime time for surfing in Sri Lanka is from November to April when the south coast experiences its main surf season, offering ideal conditions for both beginners and experienced surfers.

It’s generally recommended to drink bottled water to avoid stomach issues. Most hotels and restaurants offer purified or bottled water for guests. remember tap water also cleaned

Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) is the local currency. While cash is commonly used, credit cards are accepted at many hotels, restaurants, and shops, especially in tourist areas. We accept both the Rupee and US dollars if you would like to make final payment upon arrival at the camp.

Travel and Visa Process

Yes, most travelers require a visa to enter Sri Lanka. You can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online before your trip or upon arrival at the airport.

he most convenient options are hiring a private taxi or using a reputable airport shuttle service, which can take you directly to Weligama. Public buses and trains are also available but may be less comfortable for travelers with surfboards.feel free to reach us for all kind of transportation.

The Surf

Absolutely! Weligama is renowned for its gentle and consistent waves, making it an excellent place for novice surfers to learn and practice. we will make sure about your safety. 

We offer a variety of surfboards, including soft-top longboards for beginners and high-performance shortboards for advanced surfers. Our knowledgeable staff can help you choose the right board for your skill level.

Yes, we offer surf lessons for all levels. While you can book lessons on-site, it’s recommended to book in advance to secure your spot, especially during peak surfing seasons.

Yes! We are able to our packages as a yoga only retreat. Please state at the time of booking that you would like to do this and we will work out the available options for you.

We give surf lessons from 16 years and older.
